Moving up quickly is a tricky thing to accomplish..

Generally, if you're moving up fast, you are running well and won't hit too many downswings. But then, when you do finally hit one, it's amplified. This is obviously because that downswing is going to come at a time when you are playing higher stakes than your previous downswing. Emotionally, this is a tough thing to deal with.
At this is a point where many players lose thier patience, and go on tilt. Thier emotions begin to affect the way they are playing. This sub-optimal play fuels more losses, and the downward spiral continues until busto.

I'm not one who is good at controlling my emotions and realise, what is happeing to me in the past 10-12 days. I had been running so hot, and all of a sudden, I stopped making all those Final tables. The first week I dropped 1k and I shook it of quickly. I was confident in my game and i had a good bankroll, and let that affect my judgement. I realise that, this was normal and bound to happen to me. But I'm not pleased with how I handled it, and that I managed to play terribly afterwards. I hope when I hit my next downswing, I can look back at this and be reminded.
I have a lifetime of poker to play and "don't have to win a whole life's bankroll today". So I'm dropping a level or two and see how i'll do. My bankroll today is at 8,5k.

Stepping it Up..

The last few days have been pretty rough for me...I've been trying to play cash games and SNG's, while I'm doing poorly in MTT's. I really do not want to be complaining about my 'bad luck.' but I'm either very terrible or been catching the bad side of variance (both of which are probably true), though I have improved recently in NL cash games.

I've had a lot of success in the last few weeks. I don't mind sharing actual numbers with people. I've worked my bankroll from 2k up to around 12k-13k in 4 weeks and I feel GOOD about it. I have cashed out about 3k, leaving me with 10k in my bankroll, which is the goal, I put down which I didn't expect to meet for probably another 3-4 months.

So now I'm thinking about stepping it up and going to the next level. Higher cash tables and bigger buy-ins tournaments and that's basically it.

I really appreciate everyone's advice and friendship that they've given me over the last few months.. And to the haters and jealous people out there, F *' ya all.

Getting deeper..

I must say, i am very happy with my results and performance for the past days. I am getting deeper & deeper in the tournaments i have played in. I was so close to making 2 final tables yesterday. One at Full Tilt and the other one at Poker Stars.

Some people might say its luck, but the truth is. I'm getting better day by day. My skils have improved and i am getting more confident in my playing style. Some pleople will call me a "LuckyBox" while others will call me a "Maniac", but under this madness, i know what i am doing, "most" of the times.
I'm always and i mean ALWAYS, trying to do new things at the table. There is no limit in poker and there is always something new to do in this game. That's why i Love Playing it.

Thats all for now..
